Tim Chaney and his wife Jess joined Fellowship in February of 2010 when Tim was called as the Director of Family Ministry. He was then named the Lead Pastor in January of 2015. Tim received a degree in Student Ministry from Union University and then a Master of Divinity from the Seminary at Columbia International University. While at Union he met his wife Jess and they were married in 2008. Their daughter Eden was born in August of 2012 and they have another little girl on the way. Having grown up in the church and believed since a young age, Tim’s passion is to see the church culture awakened by the needs of a hurting world. His longing is to see Fellowship be an outwardly reaching church that is serving the Dalton-Whitfield community with gospel intentionality. Tim uses his role as Lead Pastor to explain the scriptures in their original context and call the church to the action of holy living and disciple-making.
“But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.”
- 1 Peter 2:9
