Pastor AJ Hooper and his wife, Karsen, joined the Fellowship Bible Church family in July 2021. Pastor AJ works with students in 6th through 12th grade, as well as college students at Dalton State.
AJ is a Dalton native and stayed in Georgia for college. He attended Georgia Southwestern, where he received his degree in Business Management. After graduating from college, he was called to serve at First Baptist Church of Dawson from 2017-2021. During that time, he met his wife, Karsen, and they have been married since May 2020. They are now a family of 4 with two daughters, Amelia (4) and Audrey (almost 1).
AJ has a strong desire to reach the next generation with the gospel of Jesus Christ. He believes that the Lord has gifted him to come alongside youth and their families, to walk with them through their middle school and high school years, and to see them grow into who Christ created them to be by making disciples.
