Pastor AJ Hooper and wife Karsen joined the Fellowship Bible Church family in July 2021. Pastor AJ was hired as the Youth Pastor for the 6th grade through 12th grade students. He is beyond excited to see how God will work in the lives of these students.
Pastor AJ is a Dalton native and stayed in Georgia for college. He attended Georgia Southwestern, where he received his degree in Business Management. After graduating from college, Pastor AJ was called to serve at First Baptist Church of Dawson from 2017-2021. During that time Pastor AJ met his wife Karsen and they have been married since May 2020.
Since moving back to Dalton, Pastor AJ and Karsen have added a new family member, Amelia, in March of 2022. They are so excited to experience this new chapter of life together as a family of three.
Pastor AJ has a strong desire to reach the next generation with the gospel of Jesus Christ. He believes that the Lord has gifted him to come alongside youth and their families, to walk with them through their middle school and high school years, and to see them grow into who Christ created them to be by making disciples.
